I’ve been very fortunate in my life, and have had some amazing opportunities bestowed upon me, I travelled the world for 20 years while working with Australia’s No 1 International Airline, and got to see some amazing Countries, Cultures and places like the Louvre, The British Museum and Art Gallery, Galleries in Rome, Florence, Paris, Germany, Greece, USA, Canada, etc. It was an amazing time in my life. I’m now in my mid 70’s, still working, still painting and I am now living in the very beautiful Bairnsdale, a pretty quiet little regional town in East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.
Why I paint Wildlife
As an artist, I feel incredibly blessed to have been given the gift of creativity, and painting landscapes and wildlife is a passion that I cherish deeply. It’s a way for me to connect with the natural world around us and share its beauty with others. There’s something truely magical that happens as I watch my work transform from a blank canvas into something that seems to take on a life of its own and hopefully inspire others to get out there and experience it for themselves, I feel a deep connection with nature through my paintings and I find it to be a process of discovery and transformation, where each stroke brings a creature closer to reality. Painting allows me to capture the beauty and diversity of our natural world, I feel truly blessed to be able to share my passion with you all and I hope you find something here that captures your attention or stirs your emotions. Again thank you for visiting.
